The Problem
As Pneuma Food Scientifics grew, managing lab testing requests for their increasing number of clients became a massive operational bottleneck. Doing everything manually, such as handling paper sheets, tracking samples via phone calls, and dealing with varying test fees, was slowing things down. With client demand spiking rapidly, they needed a secure, automated platform built quickly to handle order placement, track samples, and manage diverse pricing structures for different food tests.
The Solution
We engineered LinkinLabs, a fast and modern workflow platform built with Django, Tailwind CSS, and Alpine.js. The system digitizes the entire testing pipeline into six simple steps: account creation, dashboard ordering, test type selection, sample delivery, secure payment, and real-time status tracking. We built a sleek, Vercel-style minimalist interface that loads incredibly fast and gives producers, PFS admins, and partner laboratories their own dedicated dashboards to collaborate seamlessly.
The Results
We delivered the platform right on time to meet the client's high-demand deadline, successfully dropping testing administration tasks by over 60%. Food production houses can now securely submit samples, choose between standardized FDA/GSA or custom tests, and track their orders in real time. This automated ecosystem completely eliminated manual paperwork delays and allowed PFS to scale its testing operations smoothly.

Ms. Zeenatu Suglo Adams is a distinguished Food Scientist, university lecturer, and the founder of Pneuma Food Scientifics (PFS). Recognizing that commercial food producers in West Africa lost critical production days to slow, manual laboratory testing workflows, she commissioned LinkinLabs. Her goal was to build a unified digital ecosystem that bridges the gap between food manufacturers and top-tier scientific verification services to maintain strict safety standards.

The Core Challenges
The most pressing challenge was the strict project deadline. Because the client's customer base was expanding rapidly, the demand for an automated system was incredibly high, leaving no room for launch delays.
Additionally, configuring the pricing engine was highly complex. Because food safety tests vary drastically based on product types, chemical parameters, and unique client expectations, we had to design a flexible database structure that could handle diverse, customized pricing models without breaking the user experience.
Our Strategic Process
To meet the tight deadline without sacrificing software quality, we focused on building a clean, highly efficient architecture. We mapped out a direct, six-step user workflow from account creation to final test tracking to keep the user experience simple.
We held focused alignment meetings to solve the complex pricing logic, translating various laboratory billing variables into structured backend data models within Django, while prototyping user-friendly dashboard interfaces in parallel.
